RECOMMENDATION FORM

Dear Community Leader,


You are reading this letter because one of our applicants for the 2019 HATC Foundation Associate’s Degree Scholarship has selected you to be his/her recommender.


In order to encourage academic excellence and community responsibility among our high school students, the HATC Foundation, a non-profit subsidiary of the Housing Authority of Travis County (HATC), is continuing a scholarship program for graduating high school seniors who are preparing to enter college. The HATC Foundation will award up to four (4) scholarships to deserving youth currently residing in HATC affordable housing communities and Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) households. This scholarship program will cover the cost of tuition and fees for an associate’s degree at a qualifying two (2) year institution.


Along with the application and other required materials, a recommendation form is needed from a community leader who has personal knowledge of our applicant’s leadership skills, strengths, and abilities. Please complete the attached recommendation from.


Make sure your form is received by the HATC Foundation no later than 5:00 PM on Friday, April 19, 2019. Please submit your recommendation form below.
